to bring to your attention. this coming to us out of oregon. in fact, a suburb of portland, oregon. you can see emergency vehicles are responding to a shopping center where apparently an active shooter is inside the mall. take a look at the number of cars that are in the parking lot and being that this is peak christmas shopping season, you can imagine there are probably quite a few people inside that mall at this time. we don't know much about this but we have been told that there are possibly multiple victims. again, this is an active shooter and a breaking situation and you can see that some of the emergency vehicles are still arriving on the scene. again, a suburb of portland, oregon. these pictures coming to us from the helicopter live courtesy of our affiliate, katu. we will keep an eye on this story for you and as we zoom in to see if we can see a stretcher is coming out of that ambulance but it looks like it's an empty one. at this point, only some of the reports suggesting there have been multiple victims but we don't know if there have been any people killed. we will continue to g

as a gunman opens for cover in an oregon mall. we're going to give you the latest details, including the newly released identity of the man. >>> internet pioneer john mcafee is on his way back to the united states. kate bolduan is monitoring that story and others. >> guatemala officials escorted him to the airport and he boarded the plane to miami after a deportation order from guatemala. he is wanted for questioning in belize over the death of a neighbor. we've been following his story pretty closely. mcafee was held in guatemala for a week. he made his fortune from the anti-virus software that bears his name. >>> also, jacob tyler roberts was the lone gunman in the shooting at the clackamas town center mall. they say roberts was armed with a semiautomatic rifle. take a listen. >> it appears that the suspect's rifle did jam while he was attacking people in the food court. however, he was able to get it working again. clackam clackamas town center had a lockdown procedure and they did a great job. >> roberts shot two people fatally before killing himself. we'll have much more in the next hour.

about a crowded shopping mall outside of portland, oregon. three people are dead including the gunman after he opened fire at the clack kamans town center a short while ago. no word on whether he was shot or took his own life. the witnesses are describing a pretty chaotic scene of people who were rushing to the doors to escape the gunfire, that it sounded like firecrackers. about a hundred officers and emergency vehicles are now on the scene. and police say they do believe that this gunman angted alone, but they are still searching throughout the mall saying that customers and employees may still be in there and hiding not knowing if this incident is over yet. hundreds of people have already been evacuated and the sheriff held a news conference a short time ago updating the situation. >> i can confirm that we believe at this point there was one and only one shooter involved and that shooter is deceased. in addition to that, we have at least one patient who was taken, taken from the mall with a traumatic injury and at least two that were deceased. in addition to the shooter. >> and we
